Our Vision

SACSS aims to become the primary center for research and analysis of the South Azerbaijan national movement, while also establishing itself as an internationally recognized reference institution in the fields of ethnic studies and issues related to the Turkic population of Iran.

Our Mission

Through research, analysis, education, and strategic production, SACSS seeks to develop and promote a rights-based national discourse concerning the Turkic people of South Azerbaijan and to provide intellectual guidance to political, social, and cultural actors both domestically and internationally.

South Azerbaijan Center for Strategic Studies (SACSS) is an independent think tank that examines the political, social, cultural, and media dynamics of South Azerbaijan through an analytical, data-driven, and strategic perspective. SACSS aims to develop comprehensive analyses based on scientific methods, scenario-building, and policy-relevant research in response to the frequent superficial, fragmented, or ideologically driven approaches to the South Azerbaijan issue. The Center seeks to serve as a reliable reference point, particularly for international decision-makers, research institutions, media organizations, and human rights bodies.
